Match Day

Andy McNamara says YES!

At the very least all Timbers home games will be broadcast on the interweb through Sportsjuice.com with the possibility of away games TBA.

A good compromise. Radio was probably an expense that could to be cut and hopefully every USL team will provide home broadcasts at some level.

...and some good news is always welcome on match day - No Seitz tonight!!

Tonight's referee is Colin Arblaster.

Colin refereed 2 Timbers games in 2005. The 2-1 win over Puerto Rico and the 3-3 draw against Minnesota, both at PGE Park.

In other news...

Sarf Londinium team Crystal Palace to form USL (PDL) club. The new Crystal Palace FC USA will be based in Baltimore, MA and the club will play their pre-season games in the environs.

Key quote is this:

"The venture appears to be bearing early fruit, as after a successful trial period, one of the outstanding USA youth players is likely to be coming to Crystal Palace in the coming season."
